General Issues:
- If you're having problems with a custom build that uses Pro-Micro or an equivalent controller, reflashing your keyboard with QMK is a good place to start.
- A common problem for hotswap builds can be broken switches/bent switch pins, if individual keys don't work, try swapping out the switch with a different one.
- Failing this, it's best to give all soldered components a visual check, namely the diodes, hotswap sockets, and USB port(s) (if applicable).
- If you're not sure on what these components should look like or want someone to check over them, feel free to send us an image in a support ticket!
USB Cable Issues:
- Some USB cables don't carry data, only power, this is a common reason for nothing happening when you plug your keyboard in.
- Try to use a USB A-to-C cable, most C-to-C cables have compatibility issues.
- Some USB hubs can also prevent a computer from communicating with your keyboard, so try plugging it into multiple different ports too.
- If your split keyboard appears to be giving mirrored outputs then it's most likely just plugged in on the incorrect side.
